Temptation:  A desire to do something, especially something wrong or unwise.

Luke 22:32  But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.”

Luke 22:40  "Then, accompanied by the disciples, Jesus left the upstairs room and went as usual to the Mount of Olives. There he told them, 'Pray that you will not give in to temptation.'"

Luke 22:46 "'Why are you sleeping?' he asked them. 'Get up and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation.'"

Matthew 6:9-13
9“This, then, is how you should pray:
“ ‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11Give us today our daily bread.
12And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’"
If Christ prayed this way for those closest to him shouldn't we be praying like this?  Specifically against temptations.  He instructs us to pray this- He is calling me to pray like this for myself and my family.
